About the Author:
Ben Scott (and a friend prominently featured in this book) wrote his first guidebook for Hinkley/Whipps Ledges when he was in high school in Ohio. He put his learning from a Photoshop class to use, printed a short run at Kinkos, and then traded them all away at a local gear shop for a rope and a bouldering pad! A lifelong passion was born.
Many years later, Ben works as a professional graphic designer in Fort Collins, CO, is the president of the Northern Colorado Climber's Coalition, is a proud father and husband, and has multiple other local guidebooks under his belt. He is also featured prominently in a film co-created by Fixed Pin Publishing and the Northern Colorado Climber's Coalition, #guidebooking.
